Welcome to SR-AHEC

Southern Regional Area Health Education Center (SR-AHEC) serves a unique dual health care role in south central North Carolina. We train advanced health science students and provide primary care services to patients through our family medicine residency program. SR-AHEC also offers continuing education to health care professionals in our region, keeping them up to date on new treatments and technology. SR-AHEC is part of the NC AHEC program and affiliated with Duke University Medical Center. The region serviced by SR-AHEC includes: Bladen, Cumberland, Harnett, Hoke, Moore, Richmond, Robeson, Sampson and Scotland counties.
